Super typhoon Yolanda (Internation name Haiyan) aftermath - Daanbantayan Area

Brgy's that we were able to survey:
Agujo
Bagay
Calape
Maya
Poblacion
Tapilon

Yesterday we drove north to survey areas hit by Super Typhoon Haiyan / Yolanda. Most of these areas are still hard to access, specially Talipon and Maya. Roads are still filled with trees and fallen electric pole

Their main needs are : food, water, medicines and few materials that they can use to build their temporary shelters (like nails and tarps). Along the way, i saw people scavenging sources from fallen trees, like coconut and bananas, as food.
No electricity: residents rely on burning woods chopped from uproated trees as their main source of light during the night.
